Respect

The woman & Jesus : John 8:1–11
Much to the surprise of the Pharisees, Jesus does not condemn this woman they bring to him. Instead he stoops down and writes on the ground with his finger. I imagine the woman, embarassed at being publicly humiliated for her actions, being alone with Jesus after the Pharisees have left. I don't know what Jesus wrote, but words of gentleness and respect came to mind. Hope. Change. Love. Deliverance.
