At the home of Rahab, in the city of Jericho, Israelite spies find refuge from their pursuers. Rahab risks her life by hiding the spies under flax leaves on her roof, then uses a scarlet cord to lower the spies from her window. Because of Rahab's faith and kindness, her and her family's lives were spared.
